Eduardo Paolozzi’s Newton After Blake, a statue at the British Library in a small shrubbery, sits proudly next to the roar of traffic from the artery that is enters into London from the west, the Marylebone Road.

Squint upwards. Newton's bronze face won't respond, he is completely absorbed in his work. Gradually your eye will start examining his huge metal body.

Then he turns away laughing and says, "you too shall turn to bronze!"
